The valve will allow our engines  to be run in forward and reverse and their speed controlled by use of a single lever.

The valve does this by directing the steam (or air) from the input ports to the exhaust ports and simultaneously the exhaust ports to the input ports, see picture.

The valve will also regulate steam pressure to the engine in both directions, see video on Facebook.

The valve includes 4 off 1/4inch x 40tpi ME union connectors that can be removed if a different size connector is required.

The Packing nut on the valve shaft can accommodate packing material such as PTFE tape if additional sealing is required.

NOTE: The valve can be used with single cylinder engines but unlike twin cylinder engines they will not always self start. The valve is supplied as a kit of parts, as per picture, but can be sent assembled if required. Pipework/manifolds can also be made to specific requirements, contact us for details.
